Hairspray In Lalaland

The Tony winning smash Hairspray made its Hollywood Bowl debut this week. Like other Hollywood Bowl stunt casting spectaculars, the Jerry Mitchell helmed remount features some returnees including Tony winners and original cast members Harvey Fierstein and Marissa Jaret Winokur, as Edna and Tracy respectively, as well as Darlene Love and Diana DeGarmo. Joining them are Nick Jonas, Corbin Bleu, Drew Carey, and John Stamos.

But, in case you weren't sure that this production was happening in LA, look no further then the bizarro age gap between the actors who play lovers Tracy and Link. In real life, Marissa Jaret Winokur is 38 and Nick Jonas is 18. For all you math majors, that's an age gap of 20! Calling Ashton and Demi!
