Sequels Always Die

Looks like the death of the sequel has hit Andrew Lloyd Weber. The unfortunate and unnecessary Love Never Dies will be closing in August in London. The production had been selling tickets through January 2012. After opening then reopening to work out kinks (can anyone say Spider-man?), the fate of musical has been sealed. Will this make the chance for a move to Broadway grim? Let's hope so.
