What is a kiki?: A gab session!
Tell us about Restoration Comedy: Restoration Comedy is a modern adaptation of two classical plays by Pulitzer Prize finalist Amy Freed. Under Ed Sylvanus Iskandar's Drama Desk nominated direction, it's more than a play however, it's a social event! His interest is in socially immersive theater where the audience and actors experience the play together-- so when you come, you'll get to know us personally, and as our characters!
Describe Restoration Comedy in 3 words: Celebration of Amour
Who do you play in Restoration Comedy?: I play Amanda Loveless, a virtuous wife who must choose between her morals and the man she really wants...
What’s the most outrageous costume you wear in Restoration Comedy?: It's not outrageous as much as romantic, but I would have to say the costume I wear when I seduce my philandering husband is pretty exciting.
Which cast member is the naughtiest?: Our director, ED! I know he's not technically a cast member, but he definitely is the naughtiest... and I've heard him do an excellent Lord Foppington...
Sexiest?: Hard to choose among this cast! I would go for Bonnie Milligan who plays the country heiress Hoyden. She has a show stopping surprise in Act II that will definitely leave the audience begging for more!
Most likely to deceive?: Hmmm... maybe I'm not the most trustworthy to answer that...
What is your signature dance move?: Thankfully, I'm not aware of my dancing enough to know my signature move. If I did, I'd probably be mortified and cut my dancing career short.
What Scissor Sisters song would best describe you?: Maybe "Baby Come Home." Nothing says Saturday night to me more than takeout and Netflix with my boo!
Why should we come see Restoration Comedy?: It's a feast for the senses! Enjoy the gorgeous costumes and set, delicious hors d'oeuvres and BOTTOMLESS PUNCHBOWL, the brilliant witty script by Amy Freed, sexy dances, all the while discovering and appreciating the many faces of love! Who could say "bah humbug" to that?
