Jesse L. Martin, most notably known to the theater world as the original Tom Collins in
Rent, will be doing a stint on the second season of "Smash." Martin joins the overgrowing list of theater actors joining the cast of the theater-inspired show. Martin is said to have a recurring role as Scott Welker, an Artistic Director of a theater company who has a history with some of the characters. And of course, he potentially could be a love interest of Julia. But at this point, who isn't? Excited to see Jesse L. Martin back on the Peacock Network?
